Welcome from our Principal

Ms Clair Vue, School Principal

Welcome to Northern Adelaide Senior College, an inclusive learning community for students wishing to complete their SACE studies. Located in the heart of Elizabeth, NASC has been partnering with our local community and families to support senior school students to achieve their goals for over 30 years.

Our motto “At NASC you can…” ensures that students enrol with a sense of direction, striving for success in their studies and forging a pathway to their chosen career. Students are supported with individualised learning programs that acknowledge their strengths and interests, allowing them to flourish.

All NASC staff are committed to providing opportunities for students to develop independence and resilience in their learning. This work is reflected in our SACE results and graduates, all of whom transition to university, TAFE, apprenticeships or the workforce.

Alongside SACE subjects and senior school pedagogies, NASC follows the Berry Street Education Model, empowering staff to provide high expectations in learning that are complemented by an understanding of how positive working relationships and wellbeing support learners to engage in meaningful and authentic ways.

Our students are provided opportunities to develop their academic and personal skills through a range of programs and supports including:

    • Case management in the mainstream
    • Free Crèche
    • Student Business Enterprise
    • Transition to work
    • Dedicated Health Science pathway
    • EALD specialist classes
    • Young Parents programs
    • Learning Support program
    • Gaming Academy
    • University pathways

With a multitude of specialist subjects, VET courses, flexible timetables and a supportive learning environment, NASC is a great place to continue or begin your SACE journey.

I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our community. Should you prefer to ask questions directly, please contact Student Services on (08) 7285 1600 to speak with a member of the enrolment team or book a tour. Principal’s Tours run the first Thursday of each month, however we are open every day during term time and can facilitate separate tours for families.

I look forward to meeting you.
