28 November 2022

Northern Adelaide Senior College (NASC) witnessed a delightful culmination of cultures as English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) students prepared a delicious cultural feast for staff and students to celebrate the end of the year.

The event was a celebration of diversity, showcasing a wide array of culinary delights from around the world.

The EALD students, with their rich backgrounds and heritage, infused the event with a vibrant mix of flavours and aromas.

“The EALD students truly outdid themselves,” says Sam White, EALD teacher at NASC.

“The feast was not only visually stunning but also incredibly delicious. It was heartening to see our students sharing their cultural heritage through food, fostering a sense of understanding and camaraderie among the NASC community.”

The event highlighted the richness of cultures within the school and served as a reminder of the importance of celebrating diversity.
