Library and ICT

Our school library is to enhance students’ learning whilst they complete their study here at Northern Adelaide Senior College.

Our library is a learning hub for staff and students and our welcoming, relaxed space aims to facilitate teaching and learning by making sure intellectual and physical access to print and digital resources.

Our fiction and non-fiction resources (in a wide range of formats) support the curriculum and some recreational activities.

Students and staff have access to such resources as online databases, e-books, board games, electronics and digital videos available via our catalogue.

Library opening hours

The library is open 8.30am to 4.00pm weekdays during school terms.

It’s also open during mid-term breaks depending on librarian availability.

Students can access the library before school to borrow laptops and for printing. Laptops must be returned by 3.00pm on weekdays.

Library cards

Students are encouraged to have their school ID card for borrowing and printing purposes.

Photocopying, printing and scanning

Students are allocated $5 printing credit when they enrol at NASC and increments every term they are enrolled. Across campus students can access the follow-me printers.

Crèche

We offer free crèche facilities to provide a safe, caring and happy learning environment for children aged 1 week to 4 years. Crèche runs during class times and parents are asked to supply nappies and food for their children.

Students must book crèche care in advance to secure a place.

The suite also boasts professional-grade broadcasting equipment, enabling students to explore the world of media production, event management, live streaming, and content creation.

Music hub

Northern Adelaide Senior College’s music hub is a haven for aspiring musicians and audio engineers, offering a modern space for musical exploration.

Our music hub is equipped with professional-grade recording studios, soundproof rooms, and an array of musical instruments, providing students with the tools to bring their musical aspirations to life.
