Northern Adelaide Senior College (NASC) students delved into the world of culinary arts as they participated in the Certificate II Cookery Course, mastering the fundamental skills of kitchen operations.
Throughout the course, these aspiring chefs immersed themselves in the art and science of cooking, focusing on essential aspects such as basic cookery food preparation, safe work practices, and food safety protocols.
Under the guidance of experienced instructors, the students honed their culinary techniques, mastering the preparation and presentation of simple yet delectable dishes. From understanding the nuances of flavour combinations to perfecting cooking methods, the course equipped them with a comprehensive understanding of the culinary craft.
“The Certificate II Cookery Course not only enhances our students’ culinary skills but also instils in them the importance of precision and creativity in the kitchen,” says Tamika Green, Food and Hospitality teacher at NASC.
